Breakfast Club aims to give your child the best possible start to the school day. The children have the opportunity to mix with others from all year groups and they become like a big family group.
Ofsted report wrote:
'An outstanding breakfast club provides a very warm, safe and stimulating start to the day, where pupils can eat hot food, take part in lively games or work and play in the library with attentive and caring staff to help them'
Breakfast Club is run by teaching assistants from both key stages in school and led by Mrs. Lewis, our School Manager.
It begins at 8.00 a.m. and runs until when the children are guided to their classrooms.
At a cost of £3.25 per morning, including food, the children enjoy the following activities:
Arts and Crafts
Painting, play-doh, card making, masks, colouring, puzzles, etc.
Board and card games
Uno, Top trumps, Connect 4, Junior Monopoly, matching pairs and many others
Supervised access to all school programmes, Education City, selected games and Internet for homework or project research.
Lego, duplo, playmobile, farmset, cars and garage, dolls and playhouse, building blocks, circus skills etc.
Outdoor Play(weather permitting)
Children are supervised outside in the playground where they play football, skip, play various ball games or just have a run around.
We offer toast, crumpets, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts and a variety of drinks including milk and fruit juices.
