Computing
Our curriculum combines Computer Science, Information Technology and Digital Literacy to ensure pupils understand how technology works, how it can be used to create and communicate ideas, and how to stay safe and respectful online. Learning is active and meaningful, connected to real-world contexts across the curriculum — from coding games and creating digital art to collecting data and designing 3D models.
We aim to nurture learners who are:
-
Innovative thinkers, able to code, design and problem-solve with independence.
-
Responsible digital citizens, who understand how to use technology safely, respectfully and ethically.
-
Creative communicators, who can select the right tools to share ideas effectively.
-
Curious global citizens, who recognise the power of technology to make a positive difference in the world.
By the time pupils leave Northwick Manor, they will have a strong foundation of digital skills, a clear understanding of computational systems, and the ambition to be the next generation of creators, engineers and innovators. Our teaching not only prepares them for the future but inspires them to imagine and shape it.
