CATHEDRAL CAROL SERVICE

What an amazing Carol Service we had at Worcester Cathedral.  We were so proud of the exemplary behaviour of the children whose delightful voices filled the glorious Cathedral with traditional and modern carols.  Our readers, soloists, pianist and descant choir were word and pitch perfect.  As Miss Williams said, she had never been so nervous speaking to such a large congregation and was amazed at the confidence the children exuded.

We were delighted that our Chair of Governors and vicar of our parish church St Stephen’s, Reverend Canon Dr Stuart Currie, joined us to give an action packed address which the children joined in enthusiastically with.  I am sure the Christmas Story will now be firmly imprinted in their minds.

We have many people to thank for making this occasion possible: the Cathedral staff, Cannon Vanessa Godfrey, Reverend Canon Dr Stuart Currie , Sue Wintle, Gail Kainey, James Radburn, staff, parents and extended family who were able to join us in our Christmas Celebration as a school.

Parents and extended families joined the children from EYFS, sporting their fabulous Christmas hats,  in a carol service.
