School Council

The School Council is a committee that is run by children, voted for by their peers each year. The children meet on a regular basis and discuss issues that are important to them regarding how the school environment can be improved.

The overriding aim of our School Council is that it is a partnership of pupils and adults, sharing ideas, finding solutions and taking action to make our school excellent.

The committee meets regularly to discuss a list of topics that have been prepared by the chair person.  Past topics have included Think5, fund raising events, play equipment, Top Ten Tips for Punctuality and Library survey which resulted in the purchase of new equipment for the libraries.
